Why?

Ever since I read the definition of 'aam aadmi' by Rahul Gandhi in the newspaper (The Hindu is where I read it although every media outlet carried the definition emanating from the 83rd plenary session of the Congress party), a train of thought came to a screeching halt. I read the article a few times in order to understand why the thought was stuck in my mind.

“The aam aadmi in India is that person who does not have a connection to the system..."
Was it the audacity of the definition or the irony of the situation? Or, is it the brutal truth - that the common man is disconnected from the system in India. Essentially, India has become a country of a billion people run by a few people for their betterment. The 'aam aadmi' is drifting along bitter about the few and their riches by terming it corruption.

Mango Man is a nod to the Faking News article where a tongue in cheek translation basically implied that India's common man is a fruit.
